Michael Whalen's Tips on How to Fall Asleep
1. Complete everything you did and did not do today. Do not obsess. Do not make yourself or anyone else wrong. If so, get in action to complete whatever needs to done BEFORE doing steps 2–6.
Sleep is essential to good health and well-being, but many of us are not doing enough of it. The National Sleep Foundation’s Inaugural Sleep Health Index found that forty-five percent of Americans said that poor or insufficient sleep affected their daily activities at least once in the past seven days.
In own his personal journey for better health, Michael Whalen found music to be an ally in conditioning his body to go to sleep. (Michael detailed his story in a recent piece for Medium.com – How To Go To Sleep (part 1).) His new album Dream Cycle was written to help others in the same way – almost an hour of music designed to inspire rest, relaxation, wellness and meditation.
