Jules Shear is a songwriter's songwriter. He has written hits for numerous artists including "All Through the Night" for Cyndi Lauper and "If She Knew What She Wants" for the Bangles. Jules has had records out on Columbia, EMI, Polydor and Island and has sold hundreds of thousands in the US. Jules has crafted loving, respectful versions of `lesser known' songs written by Woody Guthrie, James Brown, Brian Wilson, Todd Rundgren, Bob Dylan, Dave Clark and others. Not just a record of covers, Jules and his co-producer Stuart Lehrman have created great new versions which live on their own.
