"Well Folks, this is my fourth for AudioQuest Music...different from the others but with that common blue thread that runs through them all.  This thread was grown in Mississippi and rode the rails to Chicago.  It blew west from the dust bowl to swing Central Avenue.  From Manhattan to Memphis this blue thread wove itself into a blanket of Blues that covered the world.

As a bluesman in the 90's I've tried to use this whole blanket to make music of my own.  Someimtes it's very scary, sometimes it's not scary enough, but the more I record the more I want to explore.  This recording goes uptown with the biggest band I've ever worked with , a horn section, a bunch of guitar players and a couple of keyboards.  I wanted a loose, greasy Memphis sound and I got it.  And if you're reading this you got it too.  I'm talking about the blues
