Megadeth was founded in 1983 by Dave Mustaine and David Ellefson after Mustaine left Metallica.  Their 1986 Peace Sells... but Who's Buying? is a metal classic. The album spent time on the Billboard charts and the song "Peace Sells" ranked #11 on VH1's 40 Greatest Metal Songs.
